Earring Challenge Reveal 21 – Weeks 43 & 44

November 10, 2013 , In: General

Here we are, time for another Earring Challenge Reveal!  Hard to believe Thanksgiving is right around the corner!  We didn’t have many entries this time around, I guess everyone is just getting busy and it’s nearing the end of the year!

But here are two pairs of earrings for you to drool over.  First, Alice Peterson!  She used Marla’s Mud daggers and red jasper – I really like the contrast on colors!

Second, we have Sarajo Wentling – she made some cute earrings with little lampwork spacers!

And finally, I thought I’d show you what I am currently obsessed with – beaded beads!  I am having a ball with all things seed beads – hope to start on some beaded ropes soon for necklaces!

Join us in two weeks for the next reveal – almost there!

Susan Kennedy Susan, the owner of SueBeads, started making glass beads in 2005 because she loved lampworked beads so much, but wanted to make her own instead of buying them on ebay! She also makes enameled components and dabbles in polymer clay, but her first love is glass. She has attended jewelry-making classes at ArtBLISS and has taken classes from Barbara Lewis (torch fired enameling) in addition to several classes at the Pittsburgh Glass Center.

thanks for sharing my earrings here. I love your beaded beads earrings. There's so many ways to customize them for a certain outfit or season.

Sue-I love the beaded earrings that you made. Can you point me in the direction of a tutorial for them or a name of the technique so that perhaps I can work on something similar?
